About The Rest of This Week‏

Spring is here! I looked out the window and what did I see…?

On Sunday John Molle was confirmed!  The Stake President did the actual confirmation, which was really special. Right after the meeting, John came up to Sister Gale and I and said ‘What’s next?’ we were so thrown off guard, it took us a moment before we responded!  We told him that there were a few more lessons for him.  He told us he was excited to receive his Patriarchal Blessing!  So that is what we will probably be teaching him next 🙂
So on May 3rd, we’re having Mission Conference, and Elder Bednar is coming! As well as Elder Lynn G. Robbins of the Presidency of the Seventy, Bishop Dean M. Davies, 2nd Counselor in the Presiding Bishopric, and Elder Jork Klebingat of the First Quorum of the Seventy. In addition, Elder Chris Lansing, our area Seventy will be in attendance as well as President Alan Baker, president of the Virginia Chesapeake Mission and all of the missionaries from the Virginia Chesapeake Mission.
Woo-wee! That’s a lot of people. But it’s amazing! Pretty much a once-in-a-mission-or-lifetime chance.
I love you all!
Love, Sister Hollberg
A few things I saw this week:
Too bad you can't see the front of the car, because the dog is wearing goggles! I have seen this pair twice now, two different days, and both times the dog was wearing the goggles! I don't know how the owner gets the dog to keep them on.

Oh, about the crossbow!  That was sitting in a member’s kitchen.  For when they see raccoons in their backyard.  Even though the bolts are blunt, they can still definitely kill one!  I guess they have a raccoon problem.  :/
